Armenia's Defense Minister, Suren Papikyan, referring to how Russia and Iran will perceive military cooperation with France, said: "When we talk about obligations, we have to consider both sides."

The minister stressed that every time they talked about defensive weapons. "When I see some of the stories presented here and there, let me remind you that the only way for air defense not to be used is for nobody to attack anybody."

RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan announced that Armenia has adopted a policy of modernizing the Armed Forces' capabilities.
"Armenian-French cooperation has a systemic and far-reaching nature." Papikyan
Papikyan said bilateral cooperation has been based on precise planning since this year and is developing in more than a dozen directions.
New agreements on Armenian-French cooperation were signed
Agreements were also signed with French defense organizations.
