The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports that on April 5, at 5:05 p.m., in Chinari (Tavush region) and at 5:30 p.m. in Verin Shorzha (Gegharkunik region), Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire from small arms towards Armenian positions.

Vardanyan also referred to the state and foreign debt, noting that when discussing that topic, one should not mention the absolute value but that the debt-GDP ratio is critical. "And the debt-GDP ratio in Armenia is about 40%, which is within the limits of the permissible threshold."
